1. Introduction

IN PLAIN ENGLISH

We are a directory. Our business is connecting you with builders. We care about your privacy and only share your info when you ask us to connect you.

Welcome to ADU USA ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

To Provide Search Results

We use your Zip Code and Property Data to filter our database and show you only the builders that are legally allowed to build in your specific area.

To Facilitate Quotes

When you click "Request Quote" or "Contact Builder," we use your Contact Data to generate a lead for the specific builder you selected.

4. Sharing with Builders

CRITICAL INFO

We do not sell your data to random spam lists. We only transfer your data to the specific builder you expressed interest in.

ADU USA is a marketplace. As such, our core function is to transfer "Leads" to "Builders."

When you submit a form inquiring about a specific builder or service, you are explicitly authorizing us to transfer your Name, Contact Information, and Property Details to that builder. Once this data is transferred, it becomes subject to that Builder's own privacy policy.

We require all third-party Builders to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

6. Your Rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and the right to make a complaint at any time to the relevant data protection authority.

California Residents (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. To exercise this right, please contact us using the information below.
